11+ FAQ

Common questions

When should we start 11+ preparation?

Many families begin in Year 4 or Year 5, so there is time to build skills steadily. The right start depends on your child — ask us when you book the free trial.

When are the 11+ exams?

For many Redbridge and Essex pathways, exams are typically in September of Year 6. Always check the current dates for the schools you are interested in.

What should students bring?

A notebook, pencil case, and any practice papers or school lists you already have. We’ll confirm anything else when you book.

How big are the groups?

In-person small groups are £25 per student for 2 hours, with a maximum of 8 students.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every new student gets a free 1-hour trial, with no obligation to join.

Do you help with SATs as well?

Yes. Mrs Asma also offers SATs support for Year 6. Mention SATs when you enquire if that is what you need.
